What are the shelf books referring to in the materials needed page of the teacher guide?

Which guide are you talking about?
My oldest is in RtR, and the only reference book that is used regularly is a dictionary. We have some other books around she occasionally uses for research, but she could use Wikipedia or an online encyclopedia on those occasions just as easily.
