Finish Bigger, or start Preparing?

Finish Bigger, or start Preparing?

We are on unit 27 of Bigger Hearts. I'm planning to break for the summer after unit 28, we may do units 29 and 30 over the summer. DS (8.5 will be in 3rd grade) really wants to start Preparing in the fall. Should we finish up Bigger first, then start Preparing?

Since he will only be in third grade, I would finish Bigger. If you do a guide a year, Preparing is fourth grade. So you are ahead of the game! So don't rush through the guides.
