Specific Question about Pilgrims
I used HOD for many years. I remember reading that few pilgrim children died because the women would cover them with their bodies in the freezing temps. I'm pretty sure this came from one of our H OD books, but I can't remember which one. Does anybody know if I'm mistaken?

You've had no replies, so thought I'd at least answer, even though I have no idea! We're only 1/6 of the way through Bigger (and skipped the history portion of Beyond last year since it was the 4th guide I was trying to squeeze into a day), so maybe it's yet to come, but I've not come across that yet. Amazing the things mothers have done to keep their children alive!
