Little Hands, who is using it this year?

We'll be starting LHTH with ds who just turned 5, starting sometime soon. I'm due in a few weeks and wanted to get a head start on 1st time homeschooling before Little One arrives, but my energy is zero right now. We'll see......

Glad to have so many to share this path with.

Blessings,
Julie

My DD will be using this for Kindergarten this year.
We plan to start it in September after Labor Day.

This is my first time using HOD, and I am very excited.

I'm using it right now with my just-turned-four year old, and my two year old is tagging along for some of the activities. Summer craziness has made our schedule a little hectic, but things should be settling down this week. We're really enjoying it!

This will be my first year

I will be using the program for my 4 year old son and am so excited to get started. We are going to try to avoid the "school" style of fall to summer schedule and do this year round so the kids feel this is just another part of their daily lives. I don't know if this will work, so we will see. It's nice to meet you and I look forward to speaking to you more in the coming months. :D

We are using it with my 2 yr old. This is my 3rd time using the program. :-)
We are going really slow, and I'm only doing parts of it. That way next year when we do it again he will have some review and some new stuff!
It's funny to watch the two that have done it before teach him the rhymes-I get chastised often if I change the motions!

Right now we are on unit three, doing the letter C.

I will be doing LHTH again (nearly completed it once already) with my 4 1/2 year old daughter. I will however, make some modifications since we will be going through it for a second time. Initial plan was to begin Little Hearts but, after much contemplation, I feel Little Hands is best suited for her at this time.

I am really looking forward to beginning this with everyone, it is such a rich and wonderful program that the kiddos really love and connect with!

I am planning to begin the first week of August (Hey LeAnna, you too! :D ), and will follow a typical school calendar to see how that works for us. I have a feeling however, we will decide to follow a year round schedule with breaks as needed but, will determine as we move along and sample the traditional calendar.

Lets all make sure to post on the Heart Of Dakota Weekly Check-In to show our progress with our little ones and to support one another!

Looking forward to getting to know all of you better!

Candice :D

We will be using LHTH for the first time this fall, with our almost 3 yo sons. Even though we've been home schooling for 14 years, this will be our first time using HOD, and we're really excited!

We plan on beginning around the end of August.
