World History Atlas in RTR

Post by christyg » Thu Sep 17, 2015 10:42 am

Hi! Is the World History Atlas sold with the RTR package a different version from the one sold other places (like Amazon). We were doing the independent history study in unit 16 day 1 and the maps listed in the guide did not exactly match up with ours. Just wondering if I need to order the one through HOD.

This is the first that we have noticed it. We had used Mystery of History volume 2 last year and so we skipped over to where Mystery of History volume 3 started in this guide.

Thanks!

Christy

I am guessing it is a publication date difference. The ones I see on Amazon have a publication date of 2001. The introduction to RtR says 2008. So, things like page numbers often get changed. I would look a few pages on either side of what is in the guide and see if you can find the right map. My guess is the content hasn't really changed between publication dates.

If you go to the HOD home page and do the pull down menu on the right you will see an updates and revisions and under RtR is a pdf for the newer versions of the atlas.
