Order of completion of daily subjects
Order of completion of daily subjects
Does the order that the subjects are completed on a daily basis matter? Or does each child just pick and choose the order?
Re: Order of completion of daily subjects
My son has always picked his own order. When he was younger I gave him guidance and suggestions for how he might schedule his day. For example I noticed he did best with math at a certain time of day so suggested he try and keep math then. He liked to do his harder subjects earlier in the day and the funner things in the afternoon which meant history was usually after lunch. Now that he is in the high school guides he says they are all hard so it doesn't make as much difference when he does which subject. He will still leave one of the history boxes for later in the day.

They can pick and chose the order that they wish. However, in the guides Preparing and up, I like for my kids to complete History box prior to completing the independent history, history project, and story time. I feel like in many ways they are all somewhat connected. Other than that, you can do them any which way you want.
