How long is your school day with this guide?
My 7th grader is in RTR and I’d like to skip a guide to put him on track to use all the HS guides.

We did MTMM last year and I think our days were 5-5.5 hours. We use a different math and last year used something different than DITHOR because we had already finished all the student books. I would really look at skills though, especially writing and independence. Is your dc doing everything in RTR independently as written easily? It will be a pretty good jump up to MTMM, but the huge jump will be MTMM to WG. If dc struggles with MTMM then they will really struggle with WG. WG averages 6.5 hours for my ds sometimes more sometimes less, and that is with a kid that doesn't dawdle at all.

My daughter skipped Rev to Rev and is in MtMM for 8th grade. Her days usually last about 5 hours. She does a different math than what's scheduled. She does not do extensions.

We enjoyed MTMM a few years back with our oldest ds. I was trying to remember how long our days were, and I would say 5 1/2 hours at the start of the year, and more like 5 hours by the end of the year. Here are the suggested time allotments for MTMM, in case this is helpful...
