DITHR schedule
DITHR schedule
Hi..just looking ahead and Bigger and Res to Ref and I'm not sure how to use DITHR. Looks like its scheduled everyday with Bigger. Does that mean just reading or are we suppose to do workbook that day too? And in Res to Ref it's not everyday but do they still read and do workbook on only day it is in schedule? Thanks for your help.

In Bigger, it is daily. There are instructions in the teacher's guide for DITHOR on what to do each day. Basically there is a lesson each day, and you read the books over 15 days. Then you spend 5 days reviewing the book and doing a "big" project about it. This may help you see what all they do in DITHOR: http://www.heartofdakota.com/pdf/d1.pdf
In the later guides, you spend two years completing all of the genres, so you only do DITHOR activities 2-3 days a week (instead of 4-5 days a week in the earlier guides). This is to help provide a balance to the subjects, as there is more reading, writing, and other LA things as the students get older.
