We are considering a different grammar program. How will it affect other areas such as writing?

The main way it will affect things is that Carrie will skip some of the writing lessons in the writing programs she uses because those things were already covered in Rod and Staff. You might want to look at the table of contents for the Rod and Staff guides and see the writing lessons and just makes sure you cover those things some other way.
