Singapore Math 2A and 2B
Singapore Math 2A and 2B
I'm looking into ordering for next year and I have questions about what is needed for 2A and 2B. I see there is a textbook, workbook and a teacher's manual. Are all of these necessary to teach 2nd grade math? What are the thoughts on those who have been through it... I don't like extra books, hence using HOD and the one book master teacher's manual... so, if I can just buy the workbooks for math, I'm much more likely to use this option.

If you are doing Bigger Hearts or have the Bigger Hearts guide then all you would need are the 2A/2B workbooks and the plans in the Bigger Hearts guide. There are hands-on activities and a schedule for the workbook in the Bigger Hearts guide.
If you aren't doing Bigger Hearts and don't have the guide, you may want the textbooks or HIG.

I am doing Bigger Hearts, so I will have the manual. Glad I won't need the textbooks or home instructor manual. It's always so confusing to see what all is available and decide what is necessary. Thanks for the input!
