R&S placement for 5th and 7th grade

We aren't 100% sure on bringing the kids home, but highly leaning towards it. DD had finished about half of R&S 4 when we put her in 6th grade last year. She got 81% in
English. So, if I bring her home for 7th grade, RTR, where should I place her? I feel like she should do the half of 6 this year, half next, as I believe Carries said R&S 6 should be finshed by the end of 8th. But will she have missed too much R&S?

DS finished R&S 3. Went to 4th grade and did ok in
English, but I noticed he struggled with punctuation and grammar. He'd be doing CTC for 5th. Which R&S for him?

Hi Mumkins! R & S English 5 is a pretty foundational year. It includes many excellent writing skills as well. If it was me, I'd do R & S English 5 with the 7th grader, and R & S English 4 with the 5th grader. HTH!
