Multiple programs at once
Multiple programs at once
This is going to be our 4th year homeschooling but our 1st with HOD. My 3 older kids will be doing BHFHG and my 4 year old twins will be doing LHTH. Any advice, tips, or blogs about scheduling and teaching two sets of kids out of two different books? For my twins we have done busy bags and things like that but this the 1st year to implement a preschool program into our day. Thanks!

Re: Multiple programs at once
Although I have less kids, I am going to be doing 2 guides this year (LHFHG and LHTH). I have found looking at the schedules posted in the pinned topic to be great starting points. Also, there are posts with how long each box in each guide should take. That will help you figure out how to break up the day. LHTH is only 30 minutes total per day, so it won't be too hard to add that I bet.

One thing that I enjoyed with my ds when he was about your twins' ages was having him do stations. My older dc helped me set them up, and it helped my younger ds enjoy his more independent time while I worked with my olders.
