state study question

Post by snadig » Tue Jul 16, 2013 1:52 pm

Hello ladies.

I ordered the state study that goes with MTMM. I had forgotten that my kids did a state study already in younger grades. Would you repeat this again?

Thanks,
Stacey

If it was enough years ago I probably would. My ds did our state history a few years ago, but I am still having him do it because it looks like it will have some different things. It is only 1 day a week so it won't add much time to the week.

I would - it was a blast! It was also low key, independent, and incredibly fascinating. My ds was constantly sharing "Did you know 'x'?" with us about various states at the supper table, and he has a beautiful colorful notebook from it as a keepsake. :D

Thanks for the reply. I am thinking about passing on this, she did a pretty good Colorado history notebook in 4th grade and just completed the state study in RevtoRev., she really enjoyed the state study in has remeber alot about the different states.

Thanks again.
