Questions on Recommended Items for a 6 and 4 1/2 year old.

Post by starrynight3128 » Mon Apr 22, 2013 3:39 pm

Hello, I have been reading about the Heart of Dakota Curriculum and had a few questions. My daughter just turned 6 and is currently in Kindergarten (at home) and my son is 4 1/2 and will be in Kindergarten this upcoming school year while my daughter will be in 1st grade (they are 18 months apart). Because of the closeness in age, I would need Little Hearts for His Glory for both kids. I am curious how much of the curriculum can be shared between the 2 and what items I need to order an additional copy of. Any help with this would be appreciated!!

LHFHG can easily be used for K and 1st grade. They would share most things. They would each need their own math, fine motor skills, and handwriting books.
They would also need something for the phonics/reading portion. Most likely your daughter would be farther along.
We are using it for our middle child for the last half of K, and first half of 1st grade. He is really enjoying it, and I know you will also!
HTH.

PS - you can get more replies if you post on the main board.
