Book package decision

Never used HOD before but excited to start in the fall! I will be using Preparing for my 4th and 5th grader. I will only be able to afford one of the book packages. Which one would you recommend??

To really do Preparing well, you need all of the books on the packages page except for the self-study extension package. The self-study deluxe history package is wonderful because Carrie has activites/assignments written in the guide for them to do completely independently. It helps to prepare them for more independence in the next guide.
