Taxation without representation

Learning about taxation without representation today. Started with a huge bowl of Mac and cheese. She was then "taxed", a spoonful at a time for the following things: wearing some thing green, 3 spoonfuls. Wearing something denim, which she escaped because she wasn't. living in a house with more than 2 bedrooms, 6 spoonfuls. having anything made with sugar in your cupboards, 4 spoonfuls. having any coffee or tea in our house, 4 spoonfuls. She got to eat whatever was left over. She wasn't very happy about that lol. I got a couple tears and "that's not fair". I think she understands it a bit better now
