Hi.We have had an awesome week with HOD.
LHTH week20/ 21
This weeks lessons have been about Daniel [ finishing up week 20]and then the birth of Jesus.
Here is Stanley acting out the story of Daniel. The teddy's are lions

One day Stanley came down in the morning to discover a manger scene set up-he was thrilled .

Beyong week 21
This week has been awesome.Nathan is making amazing progress.I conducted another reading test -just a simple one out of curiosity. The last test he scored Grade 3.1.It was back in March after our difficult review by the LEA...and I was quite happy with that. But I could see in the last few weeks -things have got alot easier for him and tested again .It was Grade 4.3 :D He loves the nature reader.
Nathan has Auditory Processing Disorder,so normally I dont do the spelling drill in the 'normal' way.-Usually I just call out the spelling word, because if I called out the whole sentence -he gets lots .He is so busy'translating ' all that speech -he couldnt think about how to spell. This we I was busy and just reverted to normal.I called out the entire sentence. He DID IT! Every spelling was correct too.
Because of his APD .Copywork he can do[for a while that was a challenge] but usually he either does copywork or dictates to me what to write[with a lot of direction from me] .This week he wrote a sentence about Pagoo with me dictating .
The cream clouds was a highlight of our week .I must post a picture later.

Jessica - congratulations to Kayla for her graduation! Spidermansmum, you make me smile. :)

Kristin, looks like y'all are having fun!

We are rolling along! Like I said in the blog, Girlie does not let any grass grow under her feet! We're technically preparing for Kindy, but will go through LHTH at whatever pace moves us this summer. Enjoy the blog, and click "follow." As soon as I can figure out how to jazz up my site, I hope it works well! I'm not very techie! Your blogs look so nice; please be patient, but read along! :)

Enjoy...
