Re: Who uses bigger for fifth grade?
This is my dilemma my soon to be 9yo does place in preparing! I'm only going with bigger because I worked so hard to collect it all for the 9&7yo only to discover it will be too much for him. So he will be in beyond. I just don't want to short change the 9&10yo. KWIM? I do have the history portion s...

Re: Who uses bigger for fifth grade?
Your year sounds like it was very profitable. I will be adding in IEW writing for my 10yo. It was encouraging to hear about how you tweaked the program to fit your daughter. Thank you!
Anyone else use bigger for grade 5? I'd really love to hear your experience!

Who uses bigger for fifth grade?
Planning on using bigger with my soon to be 9yo and my 10yo starting in August. 10yo saw the cover today and said, "I'm not 7-9." lol small laugh from me. But I told her it has "extensions" which make it appropriate for up to fifth grade. What do you think? Is it truly appropriate for fifth grade? I...

Is bigger appropriate for this situation?
Originally was going to have the 10&12 yer olds work through RtR and my 7&9 year olds use bigger. but upon further consideration decided that RtR will be too much for the 10yo with attention issues. She places in CTC for the core areas of reading and writing. My 7yo places in beyond. The 9yo places ...

which guide and/or resources are your favorites?
I'm going to be going through bigger with my younger two and RtR with my older two. It will be our first year with HOD. I'm just curious which guides and books, are favorites because they all look awesome!

RtR?
How many notebooks and binders for RtR? I'm planning a composition notebook as the common place book, a binder to hold the RtR notebook pages and any science experiments pages or notebook pages. Anything else that you can think of?
