Our oldest two did Res to Ref last year and loved it! The books were tremendous, and it was one of our favorite years. It always takes more time at the beginning of the year...hang in there, your son will get the hang of it!

I would also agree that it takes about twice as long at the beginning of a new school year as it does once everyone gets used to a new guide and how the school year's going to go. So give it a couple of weeks before you change your mind too quickly. My (almost) 7 year old is doing Beyond this year.....
