Hi there - I would LOVE to hear how your child's high school year has been going! Next year is my oldest child's last year before... eeeek... high school!! I'm super excited and nervous, all in one.  I've started reading some of the World Geography books already in my free time, to get ...

Re: Beyond Enough for 2nd Grade?
Hi there - What a good question! Having gone through the Beyond guide and more than 1/2 of the Bigger guide with my daughter, I'm going to try and offer an opinion for your older child. :D After months of researching every curriculum I could find information on, I chose Heart of Dakota for its middl...

Re: Just venting
Hi Sarah ~ It sounds like you are doing a great job with your son, letting him master the areas that you are working on and going at his pace! I would not worry about what his test scores are on the tests that they are giving him. They are testing based on the material that the public school is teac...

Re: Mom Crying During School!!
Same here!! Many of the books are so good! My kids have this little look that they give me now, when they can tell that the tears are going to start flowing, which usually makes us all laugh.

Hi Sarah, It sounds like this is definitely a season for your family! Hang in there!! <3 I agree with the one mama who suggested focusing on your Bigger child right now. Maybe sit down one night when the kids are in bed, and take a peek at the guide again. Think about the strong points that your chi...

MtMM - 9th Grade High School Credit?
Hi there ~ What high school credits can be given for completing the MtMM guide as written? A friend of mine has her child placed well in a younger guide, based upon the child's skill level. Counting up the guides through the years, this child will be completing MtMM as their 9th grade year, and she ...
