Re: My daughter is worried ab being prepared for college

I haven't actually started HOD yet. Until now my children have been in public school. I have also been a substitute teacher in the school system across all of the age groups and what I have seen is that there is generally very little instruction during the courses. While I love technology, the empha...

I am feeling very positive about my decision and I really appreciate all of the advice and reviews. I am excited to get started and I am getting a lot of support from family and friends. I am really at peace about this decision. My husband is a little skeptical but willing to give it a try since we ...

She was so helpful as everyone here has been. I was only worried about upfront costs, not the costs in general...

Re: Trying to decide on curriculum

LovingJesus, thank you so much for your reply. As I have been looking over the different guides over and over again as well as all of the placement charts and scopes, I think CTC would be where my oldest would really fit and my middle son would fit best in Bigger and my youngest would fit best in Be...

Re: Trying to decide on curriculum

Thank you so much for replying Stephanie. Two guides would be feasible for us next year. Even though I had thought of homeschooling in the past, I didn't think it was going to be something that my husband would be onboard for and so we didn't plan for it in our budget. We could definitely make some ...

Trying to decide on curriculum

I am a full-time PhD student and I substitute part-time in the local school system. I am a licensed school counselor that has not been able to find a full-time position. I have decided that it is the right time to pull my children out of public school due to many of the policies that are being imple...
