I just want to say a big thank you to all who replied, I took all your advice and I got my letter today saying my daughter is excused for this upcoming school year. Now to get her classroom cleaned and re-organized...

Jill Riggs, I am definetly stressing about. That is why I came on to ask for help. I have 2 older DD that our in the public school which the main reason I'm stressing. I've got to turn it in on Monday, we only have 2 weeks before school starts. Also do I need to keep a log of hours?

Thanks. I just don't want to give to much. I have a few friends who homeschool and I've asked for help but their response wasn't great. I wish they didn't need to know what we were teaching. notifying local school about my intent
This is my first yr I need to notify my district about home schooling. what info do they need when I'm asked for a brief outline of curriculum.. I don't want to give them to much and mess things up...I live in OH if this helps.
