Hi Everyone!
I am looking at the Bible study in World Geography. I've read some reviews on various sites, and many people recommend it for upper high school (11th-12th). Has anyone found it to be too challenging for a 9th grader? My 9th grader is not especially fond of reading.

Re: Learning Styles?
Thanks soooo much for the info on Sensory Processing. I do believe my older son has issues with SPD. That might also explain my younger son's behavior as well. I will spend time going over the info you directed me to. Thanks again!!

Re: Learning Styles?
Thank you all for your input. I have wondered about his learning style because... as I said...he loves to color....but... he also seems slow to improve with reading . :? I thought if he were visual, the reading thing would come easier. There could be other things going on, but I was just thinking th...

Learning Styles?
Hi Everyone! Just wondering if anyone can give me a quick idea of what my son's learning style might be. ** He is a first grader and is absolutely CRAZY about coloring, crafts and artwork. :!: I've never seen a child soooo into his coloring. He can copy intricate, detailed circle-line patterns with ...

Where is Cough/Tea Recipe in Bigger or Preparing?
Happy New Year to Everyone!
Just wondering if anyone remembers which book (or more importantly which page) I might find the Cough/Tea recipe. My son and I were trying to find it, but we still can't remember which book it was in. I think it was made with lemon and honey.
Thanks!!!!!!!!

Re: Bright kid, confused mom....curriculum junkie issues
Hi. :D My 10 year old is currently in Preparing. He is a kid that LOVES history, geography and science. So, I know what you mean when you say he begs for more. I understand that you switched from Bigger to Preparing and then back to Bigger again. Is that right? :? Can I just say that I really hope y...

Re: Need Advice for Phonics Program in Beyond
Do you think Beyond is too easy for a 7 year old, 2nd grader? I was thinking of doing Beyond instead of Bigger because her reading skills are not great. I was afraid the reading in Bigger could be too much. But...perhaps I should just do Bigger with R&S 2 and just take it slow. After doing 100 Easy ...

Need Advice for Phonics Program in Beyond
Hi Everyone, Please help me decide what to do with my daughter. She is going to be entering the 2nd grade in the fall, but she is very weak in reading. I'm planning to work with her over the summer with 100 Easy Lessons. If we are successful with 100 Easy Lessons, she should be reading at a 2nd grad...

Is there a State Test that compliments HOD??
Hi, Yes, I know that this is a strange question. I'm in a state that requires testing or evaluation at the end of the year. I was wondering if anyone has a suggestions for a state test that is heavy in science, reading and/or history. I've heard that there is one, but can't remember what it i...
