Thanks SO much for all the responses! Totally makes sense! I feel much better now in planning and in knowing what to do when we need a day off!! Yay! We started school today and I have LOVED it! The kids seem really jazzed too!!

What's Next?

I will be doing Bigger Hearts with my 7 1/2 year old starting in August. He will be in 2nd grade. After we complete the year, what do we do the following year for 3rd grade? Do we do the same curriculum again? Or move up to the next book? I'm a little confused.

I think the ladies have given you great advice. I have 4 kids and I definitely suggest keeping a guide in between them in these younger years for your own sanity. Bigger is very parent intensive and Preparing is a big jump in skills so if you were doing those back to back a few years in a row...you...
