Re: Sneak Peeks 2016: New US2 High School Guide

They seem to generally go in the order that they're listed online and in the catalog. So I would guess it would be The War for Mansoul. :)

Re: Sneak Peek #9: New US2 History Guide

I am really glad to see you using some of the MTMM extension books. My son is a 9th grader this year and while I would LOVE for him to go through the US2 guide, it's just not going to happen. So I've been waiting to see what books you would have in this guide so I could use some in MTMM. :) This is ...

Any new Sneak Peeks coming soon? :)

I am working on beefing up MTMM for my ninth grader and knowing that we won't make it to the AH2 guide, I sure would love to know what some of the living library books are going to be. I would love to maybe sub in a few of them for some of the MTMM extension books. Just sayin'..... :D :D :D

Re: Science questions

Hi Stacey, Just a couple of thoughts here. My son is 14 1/2 and just finished RevtoRev. He'll be going into MTMM in the Fall. He sounds like your daughter, doesn't like school, hates writing, etc. He did enjoy EE in RevtoRev though (except for all the writing parts). My thoughts on jumping to WG (I ...

Re: AH1 Government questions.....

Thank you, Carrie. :) Would I need to get the guide to go through either of them? Or can I just follow whatever is in the workbook? I was hoping to make it to the Arlington Convention next weekend, so I could "look" at them, but that's not going to happen. :(

AH1 Government questions.....

My son will be almost 15 in the Fall and will be going through MTMM. We aren't going to get to either of the American History Guides, so we're beefing up the MTMM. We want to go ahead and do some government over the summer since we've got the election coming up, so I'm wondering about using A Noble ...

Re: Sneak Peek #4: New US2 High School Guide:

So excited to see this!!! My son will be doing MTMM for his freshmen year and I was just looking at economics options yesterday (beefing up posts, etc) and still not knowing what to do. Now I do!!! I'll just go ahead and implement this for him this year especially with it being at a slower pace, it'...

Re: Need Graduation Celebration Ideas. Anyone like to share

I have graduated 5, all girls. (Two of my boys dropped out, so they didn't get a party) My next son, 17, is now done and I'm trying to work on a party for him. His may be a little different than my girls, but we'll see. What we did for each of the girls was have a "Graduation Open House/Reception." ...

I love ALL of Bob Schultz's books! Too bad we won't make it through all the guides. :( I'll have to add in the books anyway. :D

Beginning high school Science plans....

My son, just turned 14 in Dec., will be starting MTMM in the Fall. I'm working on his high school plans. He wants to be done by the time he turns 17, which is almost exactly three years. He isn't college bound, plans to own his own business doing something with engines or cars or something along tha...

Re: New Math Reccomendation after Singapore 6A/6B

Sooooo..... I just read this whole thread and I'm still not sure what to do. :D My son just turned 14, we're in Rev To Rev and he's just finishing up Singapore 5B. I want him to be ready for Algebra next Fall, should I just go with 6A B or should I do the Principles of Math Book 1? It looks good, bu...

Re: Fine Arts Credit

It may depend on your state. Usually fine arts is Art Appreciation, Music Appreciation, theatre/drama. We have to have a credit of Fine Arts too. I'm going to use the World History art and then the Music Appreciation that we're doing this year in RevtoRev. (my son will be 14 in Dec., so we're going ...

Re: Algebra II suggestions?

All that is required is 3 maths. He would be happy with a good business math thing I think, but I don't even know where to find one of those! I did have the set of ACE paces, but it was SO simple and seemed dumbed down. I got rid of it. He doesn't want any other math curriculum. He said he'd just pu...

No, Tabitha, I don't know anything about CTC. I don't think I've even heard of it! Thank you for posting the link, I'll go check it out. :)
