There is a new program out that is called Getting Started With Spanish. I have not used the program, but my son is using their Latin program and is enjoying it.

I, too, couldn't tell much from the examples posted of Cheerful Cursive. So I have just stuck with BJU cursive since that is what we were already using.

Walmart carries index cards that are perforated down the middle. I am going to purchase these as it will ensure that all of my cards are split evenly.

My Preparing Hearts for His Glory book just came today! I am really looking forward to using it this school year with my 4th grader.

I, too, need to figure this out. As of now, I am just planning on one notebook for copywork and then index cards for Memory Verses and Spelling words. Unless, I find out differently as we go along or from someone who has been there and done that.

I have used both English programs. We are currently using R & S and plan to continue using it. I have found that my boys have a better understanding of grammar and are retaining it with the usage of R & S versus the usage of BJU. We will be using Preparing this year with our 4th grade son. As to a ship date I am not sure, but the website says it will ship the first week of August.

We will be using Beyond with my up and coming 2nd grader who is 7 years old.
