Re: Placement Help Please
I'm going to have my son take the placement test on Singapore Math's website. In looking around this discussion board I can't seem to find which series is recommended. I'm assuming the U.S. Editions Series?

Re: Placement Help Please
Thank you, ladies, for responding regarding next year's placement. I appreciate your taking time out of your busy schedules to help me. Julie, prior to your post and after re-reading the placement chart in the catalog, I was leaning toward separating the boys and putting my youngest son in Resurrect...

Placement Help Please
I have two sons, ages 11(birthday in June) and 13 (birthday in November). We kind of consider our youngest a 5th grader and our oldest a 7th grader. As I look ahead to the future high school years (YIKES!), I'd like some guidance. I'm not sure if I placed them correctly this year (CTC with the exten...

Grading work?
Yikes...the high school years are approaching quickly. I've looked through a few posts and think I'm starting to "get" how transcripts are handled, but how do you "do" grades? I'm afraid I will waver between being too strict and too lenient. I have trouble maintaining a balance. For instance, even n...

Is there an area on the website where corrections can be posted for future printings?

Re: Not getting it all done
I wanted to post a "review" of the advice I was given above should anyone wander onto this thread. I looked at the suggested times listed for each box and made up a schedule, relying more upon order than rigid, specific start and end times (but keeping those guidelines in mind) as Carrie stated else...

Re: Not getting it all done
I'm not seeing any place that gives recommended times per box each day. Am I missing something or is this not listed in CtC?

Not getting it all done
Can some HOD veterans give me some tips on how to successfully complete a day of work? While I admit that I might (let alone my children) be a bit ADD and easily distracted, it is taking us more time to complete a day's work than is suggested in the HOD catalog. We might follow a rabbit trail here a...

Quoting / copying another's work
Whew. Today was even better than yesterday. I was a bit concerned that my boys would balk at the increase in writing and reading from our previous homeschooling years, but I've been impressed with their attitudes for the most part. Besides God's grace, I think I can thank Carrie and her fabulous sel...
