Re: Diana waring cd
Yes, I listened to the samples...and she does talk fast. I sorta lean more towards the SOTW cds for the below 6th grade crowd....but, that is just with going from samples not actual experience.
I did notice her enthusiasm as well.

Can someone tell me which "key persons" are taught in BEYOND
For example: Benjamin Franklin, George washington, John Rofle, John Smith, William Bradford...etc? I am trying to get an idea of which KEY persons we will be covering or at the very least "mentioning" in regards to American History this year in BEYOND (of which we are very excited to start!). Thanks...

Ok, ladies! Those who have CC, you will be famous to our inquiring minds who are axious to see samples! Please post your pics :D THANKS IN ADVANCE. On a side not, I think its pretty silly :? that the publisher wont allow samples to be seen. In my humble opinion, they would have more customers if the...

Thanks Carrie! That helps me see how the two compare with eachother. I still need to pray about which to do. I have a feeling ds7 will get lost with the biographical study. He may do better with the event study in Beyond. Also, his attention span is not good at all....so shorter history readings are...

What historical events/people are taught in Beyond?
I am actually confused as to what the scope and sequence is for history in BEYOND? When i looked at the TOC, I couldnt get a feel for what sort of events and important people were going to be studied? Do they learn about the important historical figures of Ben Franklin, Abe lincoln, john smith, expl...
