Re: Week in Review May 6-10, 2013

I haven't posted a week in review in a while either, but I did sit down last week and post a blog with several weeks/months worth of pictures in it, of what we have been doing in LHTH - enjoy!

A-A-Adam

We LOVE Little Hands To Heaven!! We are doing it self-paced, so we are just now on unit 21 (Jesus' Birth/letter Q). Right now, my little girl is "supposed" to be napping. We put a baby gate up in our hall way, were she cannot come into the main part of the house, but she can get to her restroom if n...

Re: Has anyone used Little Hands for Kindergarten?

I think your daughter will LOVE LHTH. We are doing it right now with my daughter who is 4.5. My daughter sounds a lot like yours - she loves to play and wiggle and sing. She will sit for short stories and we save longer ones for when she is tired  The Bible reading is very brief, and the finge...

Re: Do you go year-round or when do you start your year?

I am interested in replies to this as well. We will be doing LHFHG also, and are considering either a year round schedule, or a different start date. Our reason is, my husband is a public school teacher, but he also wants to be involved in our kids homeschooling (especially as they get older - he wi...

Re: Heading into convention season, AND...........

I loved reading this too! I am so glad that we discovered HOD last year at our convention, and know exactly what we are getting, so we don't have to be frazzled like we were last year. Last year, we were "those" parents. Wild hair, bug eyed, overwhelmed and hyperventalating... LOL! Then we stumbled ...

Re: So embarrassed to admit this...

I own everything up through Preparing and know that we will be able to use HOD for the next few years at least. After that I have no idea if we will be able to afford the other guides. We are just now getting started with our homeschool adventure, but like you, I've looked ahead to what the cost wi...

Re: Weekly Review: September 24-28

Our family has all been fighting the cold/allergy bug... and losing. So we got off track for a few weeks. We are still dealing with running noses, but are finally feeling much better. Hope to get back on track this week! (So far so good!) This is my blog for unit 7 in LHTH, which actually took us ab...

Just a funny story

We are in LHTH and this week we have been learning about Joseph and how the people had to listen and obey him so they would have food to eat. Due to kids being sick this week, we've been just reading the stories, and picking and choosing activities - not really going by the book... (Sigh, we'll get ...

Week 3 in Little Hands to Heaven - I can't thank God enough for guiding our path that led us to Heart of Dakota. We are having so much fun. It is exactly what we were looking for.

Re: when to start LHTH?

Hi! I just wanted to let you know what we are doing. We just started using LHTH this year (first year doing anything besides reading and playing) - this is our third week. Daughter is 3, she will be 4 in November. My goal is to go full speed (I think that is how they word it) everyday. However we br...
