I know he's not far off from the suggested age range but he definitely wouldn't place in Beyond if it was just for him. :wink: I want to challenge him. He loves to read so I thought I could just hand him the books and he'll read them ...

I'll be using HOD with all my dc starting in the fall. :D I've used Preparing, CTC and currently using RTR with my 10 year old twins. My husbands loves HOD (he's a SAHD, who helps homeschool the kids) and has insisted using it with my younger kiddos.
