Re: water color pages curl....???
Tamara - no worries there - I was only hoping to get through one or two days worth this week...I will say - I am truly in awe of you homeschooling moms doing this with multiple kids. 8) I'm already quite tired out with one and we're only a few days into it! I love all the ideas for storing th...

Re: water color pages curl....???
We must be on the same schedule! We did our first CTC watercolor today too. We used masking tape to attach it to a piece of foam core (which I had left over from a garage sale sign). I actually looked online for video examples of painting watercolor and saw that they had done the same thing. (I'm cl...

Re: list/pics of getting.ready for ctc?
I would love this too! We have all the books we need to begin CTC and I'm good on notebooks/comp. books. I'm nearly there with art supplies too. I'd love to see any other good suggestions. We were planning to begin in the fall (first time hs for my 11yo ds), but the Lord knew what we didn't...and ev...

scheduling of DITHOR in CTC
Hi, I recently got our box for CTC and have been reading through the TM and the DITHOR TM. I just realized that with DITHOR only scheduled for 3 days/week in CTC, that we would only complete 5 genres in a school year. Are there other ways that some of you get through all 9 genres in a year? I'm curi...

It was helpful for me to think through these ideas too, as HOD will be new for us this year.

Re: Creation to Christ Student Notebook...
I only just received our CTC box last week...just looked and the notebook includes 38 pieces of heavy stock paper. One is the cover sheet. There are double-page spreads for each unit, plus a 3 page chart called, "Prophecies About Christ." It measures about 1/3 of an inch thick. Hope that helps. :D T...

Re: what book lists do I need to choose for CTC?
Thanks so much, Ann. I should have been more clear on my ds' grade - he'll be using CTC for 6th grade in the fall. Yes, it is definitely going to be a big shift for both of us since hs will be new, but thankfully, we're both looking forward to it. I had thought it would be good to have the extension...

what book lists do I need to choose for CTC?
Well, I think we are about ready to take the plunge and order CTC for my current 5th grader who has always attended public school. He and I are both excited to begin the homeschool journey together next year. :D I just want to be sure I'm understanding the various sets of reading books correctly. 1....

Re: looking for SE MI HOD users
Thank you, Carrie, for the links. Yes, I have read all the intro's, have looked at the samples and looked at a few of the board posts. I will look back through the weekly posts and the photo books and see if that helps. My thoughts after looking at the program placement chart is that my ds could fit...

looking for SE MI HOD users
Hi HOD community! I am exploring HOD and would love to meet someone in my area who uses it. I am in the Detroit area, but am willing to drive a bit if necessary. I currently have 3dc in public school and the Lord has been leading us to being homeschooling our oldest ds who will be 11 next week (curr...
