Hi. I have only been using HOD for a few days. So, weigh my opinion as such. :lol: I like the idea of having the historical fiction that goes along with the time period, but I am very careful (some might say over protective) about what my children read. I am of the mind set... Garbage in Garbage out...

I just wanted to say thank you for all the thoughts and prayers. We stood in line for the visitation for an hour and a half. It was beautiful. They had a sweet slide show of pictures. When I left the vistiation there was still a long line of people. It was awesome.... We didn't make it to the funera...

My two cents... and please just take it at that.....

If life needs to be made simple.... make it just that. Cover the basics and then what you have time for....

Another idea would be to do the readings at bedtime.

Count me in. I will be doing Little with my daughter (who will be 5 NEXT week) who is K and my son who is 6 and in first grade.

I will be doing bigger with my son who is 8 and in the third grade.
