Re: Ladies I am totally overwhelmed

Spoke with my husband a bit tonight and I think we have a plan. For days like yesterday and today I am going to have all the educational videos I have available for the kids. I have several. I have the whole Moody science series, the Liberty Kids series, several leap frogs and schoolhouse rock and t...

Re: Ladies I am totally overwhelmed

I think I am coming out of the fog of the past two days. We shall see what tomorrow holds. On my good days it's really good. on my bad then really bad. :( I do rest pretty well most of the time so I think I am getting the rest I need. My daughter is in cosmetology school and I don't think she could ...

Re: Ladies I am totally overwhelmed

Thanks Carrie for taking the time to respond. I too have vertigo although it is much better than years past most days. Mine is BPPV so it's positional and when it gets bad I do my "exercises" for it and that helps. I pray yours heals quickly.

Ladies I am totally overwhelmed

I know it's hormonal ups and downs and I am on bio-identical hormones but I still have very up and VERY down days. But everyday with schooling I am overwhelmed. I know that with HOD I should not be so overwhelmed but I am. I need to do two guides this year but honestly I don't think I can even get o...

Re: Needing Some Help

I have a 7yo I am doing LHFHG with because he is not reading yet. I love little hearts and it would be fun and easy while you work on those other areas.

I would agree about Little Hearts. And it is by far my favorite so far. You will love it.

Re: Narration help PLEASE!

I don't think he's playing me and I DO think he remembers he just can't put it into words. I hope that makes sense. It was something his father struggled with in school too. So today I had him tell me what happened after every page he read. It worked GREAT. He would start with the last thing read bu...

Re: Narration help PLEASE!

No he's pretty on track. He reads above grade level. He tested above grade level in his reading and comprehension and language something I can't remember what it's called. So basically he can read and answer questions on paper or even when I ask them but not read or listen and narrate it back.

Re: Narration help PLEASE!

No he can't narrate back if he reads or if I read.
I will try the smaller chunks to see how that works. We just skipped his reading yesterday because I didn't feel like trying.

Re: question about Little Hearts Bible...

There are also two different bibles sold for LHFHG. You can see them on the site. You could choose the one you haven't used.

Narration help PLEASE!

My 9yo can not narrate. We have been doing it since he was 5. I don't understand. He always says he remembers NOTHING from the reading. When either I read or he reads it doesn't matter. :( I don't know what to do. Today after he read (it's a book about Orville and Wilbur Wright) nothing. I asked wha...

Re: Placement Chart Help

You should call the office they are great to help you place your children correctly. Just look at what you have off the top of my head I would place them in Beyond for 7yo keeping the grammar and math you have, 9yo either Bigger or Preparing but probably preparing and keep the grammar and math level...

Re: using 2 programs at once with 3 kids...

Beyond is very easy and quick to get through.
I can't answer about Preparing, although I know there are some independent things in it.

Re: Left or right handed

my 7yo left handed child does almost as much right handed. He chooses his left when writing but he can throw with either and oddly enough in soccer he kicks with his right foot predominately. He does eat with his left hand too but can eat just as well with his right. I figure it's whatever he choose...
