What I have done is just do DITHOR three times per week. It takes 5 weeks of reading I think, with 3 added days for the book report. So, we don't get through the whole book in one year. It's not meant to be done in one year necessarily.

I remember not being too impressed with this whole kit. It seems like my daughter had a lot of experiments not work.

My daughter takes about 6 hours. We use TT for math and don't do the Living Library either. She's never complained about the length of her day. However, I did a lot of warning the year before that her first high school year was going to be more intense.
