We are 3/4 of the way done with beyond and will go until October and my son turned 9 in June! I admit to wondering the SAME thing. So, thanks for having the courage to ask! Perhaps we should just trust and feel peace, but it's also a pleasure to have company along the way!!
Blessings~

HELP! Pictures from Week 9 Day 4 Geography?? BLHFHG
I am doing this activity today and I am so visual myself, I was wondering if anyone had a snapshot of what this activity looks like. It's foot prints, a compass rose and a basket of corn...maybe that will jog your memory
Thanks in advance~

Tamara~You ROCK! Thanks so much for your valuable wisdom. I was listening when you talked with me on FB, I promise!! I just wanted the scoop about repeating guides. BLHFHG Two Years in a Row?
Okay, I am using BLHFHG with my Kindergartener and 2nd Grader. I am kind of watering it down for my kindergartener with phonics/spelling. She doesn't do the copywork. But, she can do the Singapore 1A/B Math. My intention was to use the same guide next year for her. I figured next year it will be a l...

Re: enjoying American Pioneers and Patriots!!!
We just started it as well! We too are enjoying it. We curl up together on the couch and read/discuss etc. It's just that kind of a book. I also like the fact that you read it all at once and then go back and reread it. Good stuff!

Timeline Week One
I am hoping the ol' no question is a dumb question rule applies here!! Okay, so, the first week we are supposed to make a timeline. And I am serious as a heart attack, I have NO clue if I am doing it right. I did the dates across the top, but then I had K-Dog add his dates on the very first column. ...

Re: A newbie homeschool funny
Wondering how your day went today? :D You are so sweet to ask. Believe it or not, we are all SICK. 1st day - Lou Bear was sick, today - K-Dog and Mommy are sick. What is it? It is the horrible epithet, virus . I think I was more disappointed than the kiddos. But, we did do our reading, bible, biogr...
