Need help with American Lit in high school
Can someone help me choose some books for my 10th grade son to use for his American Lit credit? We will be using BJU American Literature, but I want to add some full length novels to go along with it. I'd rather choose books that are not violent or dark. There must be some literature people here tha...

Re: beefing up science in MTMM for high school credit
Thank you for the link! I read everything over there last year and it does have some great information. I was wondering though - some of the info is old and was wondering what others have done in the past few years? Also, I can't find the link directly for the science in MTMM and don't have time to ...

beefing up science in MTMM for high school credit
I have a 10th grader and we are using MTMM this year. Can you please tell me what you have used for chemistry to make it high school credit worthy? Have you used the science from MTMM and added to it or used a whole different chemistry curriculum altogether? My son is strong in science. His brother ...

Re: Nature Journal for MTMM?
Thank you - that did help to see it all together! I have more than one student, though, and want to do this in as budget friendly manner as possible. I was wondering what is glossy paper? What kind of pens did you find work well? Any advice on finding a journal- I'm guessing there are so many option...

Re: Grading in the World Geography Guide. . . .
Do any colleges actually want to see your records or do we just have to show a transcript? I'm trying to figure out this grading thing too and am not sure how detailed our records have to be. I'd rather not grade for every little thing if that is not necessary, know what I mean?
Thank you!

Nature Journal for MTMM?
I looked over the list of supplies and was wondering if anyone had a list of exactly what they got and from where? I feel so clueless trying to find the supplies. If I could order most of them from one place - that would be great! Thank you for any help or links (maybe this was discussed before?) Th...

Rev to Rev - need help with Map Trek
Hi,
We are on Unit 7 and I tried to find the map that says pg. 48-49 on the Map Trek CD.
Map Trek 3 pdf goes from p.62 -110 and
Map Trek 4 pdf goes from p. 2-28
Am I missing something or just not in the right spot?
I hope someone can help me.
Thank you!
Lynn

New high school guide every year?
Hi,
Does anyone know if Carrie plans to put a new high school guide out every year for the next three years? I know she did a ton of work on the new Geography guide this year and was wondering if she is planning to keep up that pace with a new guide every year. Anyone know?
Thank you!

Re: Rev2Rev with 9th grader
I don't have a lot of advice, but I did want to let you know that I will be doing Rev to Rev with my 9th grader this year too - he's 14. So it might make your son feel better that there have been other 14/15 year olds who have used (and are using) Rev to Rev. On the other hand, I think if it were my...
