Re: Breakthrough - Learn to Read - An Ant
I am late to responding, but HOORAY! What an exciting breakthrough and one to definitely celebrate! When Carrie first showed me the Learn to Read: An Ant books, I immediately loved them. We knew they were a 'find' - we feel the same about Miss Rhonda's Readers. We are so glad you are enjoying Learn ...

Re: New Products Coming...
Bethany, we are so glad you are excited about all of the new and amazing resources Carrie has chosen! Her plans for them are equally wonderful - I so wish I had a little one to homeschool, so I too could enjoy the new resources and plans! She is currently hard at work writing, but I'd be happy to an...

Re: Writing update from IEW to W&R for Resurrection to Reformation
Medieval History-Based Writing Lessons has gone into so many reprints and updates that writing new plans year after year became cumbersome. We liked the first version the best, and each updated version got further and further away form that original resource. However, this is only one reason why we...

Re: Questions about using revival to revolution(MTMM-10th) for 9th grade
I am sorry I am just responding - things have been a little crazy around here with the spring sale! Thanks so much for your patience! I'll start by just answering your 3 questions...: 1: English credit in high school includes literature, composition, and grammar. Each of these should be completed to...

Re: Love Love Love the New Visual History Bookmark Set for Beyond!
I think the Visual History Bookmarks are so beautiful too! So vibrantly colored, and the oral questions further bring to life the history so well! The Picture Clues is such a good activity as well - very fun, and yet teaches kiddos to draw their attention to the lovely illustrations and the 'story' ...

Re: Roll Call 2023/2024?
Well, I am very late to this Roll Call, but I still enjoyed reading this thread immensely! I am down to ONE. How did that happen?!? Emmett is an 11th grader and is currently (as in today) on US1's Unit 8, Day 3. We are really especially enjoying our time together going through the American Lit follo...

Re: Paint with the Poets Review - 5 Stars!
Oh, this was such fun to read, Jaime! Carrie and Shaw worked so hard on Paint Like a Poet, and I just wish I could be doing it with my own kiddos (down to one who is in 11th grade now). I think it would have really helped them as well. Happy painting!

Re: Sensitive Topic - Is the Bible Infallible
In our curriculum, we teach children to do directly to their own Bible. We do not teach theology as we feel that is the right of the parent to teach. When referencing the Bible, Carrie always lists the Scripture verse so that you can use your own family Bible. Our goal is to get our children saturat...

What a great idea! So glad you are seeing success with your little one taking on some independence in prep for Bigger Hearts - congratulations!!! I especially loved hearing about your son setting up his 'farm' with 'barn cats' - too precious! Thanks so much for sharing here!

I have been paging through mine and loving it as well! I love the cover and the bigger-sized fonts, as well as the baskets matching the online baskets! It has been fun to look through all the new, amazing things being offered too. This was a major undertaking - a true family project for all of us, t...

Well, you have a good independent worker and reader in your daughter - wonderful! Just wanting to explain Carrie's intentions for this box of plans. A Child's Geography Volume II is scheduled to be read aloud by the parent in CTC for several reasons. First, it is one of the only readings the parent ...

Hello Mumkins! Good to hear from you - and thank you for sharing about your son! The ladies are doing a wonderful job of talking through options with you. When you look at the placement chart, what is the highest guide your 7th grader could place quite well in (considering the first page is most imp...
