Re: Ladies I am totally overwhelmed
Dear and Beloved Daughter of God, it's ok to be real and honest about what your are experiencing. Prayers going up for you, that the Prince of Peace Himself will overshadow you and bring peace and comfort and clear thinking in this time. My suggestion is completely Prioritize what is absolutely esse...

Can read independently at 2nd to 3rd grade level. Oral narrations are detailed. Writing and spelling are a...

p36 Abib ... God's Wisdom..... Question: how would this solution be fair to the victim? Answer: His property is restored plus another camel for pain and suffering; restores attitude of respect and humility toward victim (or at least points the way). Question: How is this solution an appropriate pen...

Jashub's Journal
This is the kind of deep thinking and Godly principles that I love about HOD aided by the Holy Spirit's insight. I admit that conviction was working on me during my discussion with my son. These are the godly thoughts and insight I hope And want to see instilled in my son as God molds him into the l...

Re: Help w/ written sample
I have the Bigger manual , but will this be too low a bar for starting studied dictation? I won't have the CTC manual until sometime in June. I'd prefer to get him started reviewing before end of Aug.

Re: Help w/ written sample
There were no paragraph indentations, only 2 3/4 pages of sentences. I believe he does know parts of speech. However, subject /verb agreement is lacking, and he wrote just like his boy mind thinks, jumping from one idea to another unrelated idea. Focus and task completion are hard for him, unless it...

Help w/ written sample
I have really struggled w/ placement, even after a wonderful board conversation with Julie. I thought it might be a good idea to post a sample of ds written work. This was not a school assignment, it was a disciplinary assignment after some undesirable behavior. He told me he had written a 3 page es...

Re: Res to Ref, big step up./ Shakespeare
Julie, always a pleasure to read your responses. Thank u for your thoughts and support. I agree that my ds may not do well with the "I" boxes, as I think he would still desire some hand holding. I also agree that he would likely benefit from the Writing elements in CTC. Math and English would stay t...

Re: Res to Ref, big step up./ Shakespeare
Found a detailed post explaining Shakespeare, written by Carrie, and I appreciate her insight and reasonings regarding the Shakespeare option. Just letting others know. I found it by searching and browsing "resurrection", although, I assume it could be found with a "Shakespeare" search. I don't know...
