I understand that Rod & Staff is done half pace in CtC. My plan is to start R&S 4th with my 10 yo now with Preparing. I don't have the manual yet so I don't know if it is done half pace or full pace. Then next year do I move him right into 5 at half pace? I'm a little confused on this.

Cindy, I think your plan sounds good. CtC and RtR look great for advanced learners like your dd. If you look at the extensions booklist, they are many of the same books used in other 7th and 8th grade curricula.
