Re: Noah's Ark, Noah's FLood

The guide was printed in 2008... The True Story of Noah's Ark (an absolutely gorgeous book, we love it!) is listed in the Storytime box. The area I was referring to in my previous post was the Independent History Study box. Its no biggie if we have to skip Noah's Ark, Noah's Flood in the Independent...

Re: Noah's Ark, Noah's FLood

I thought at first it was The True Story of Noah's Ark.
Both titles are in italics, I assumed it was a different book. ;)

Re: LHFHG Bible Verses ?

I cut out little hearts and wrote the verse on each one as we learned them. I placed them on a piece of poster board that was on the wall. It was fun to see all the verses we learned and it looked cute. :D

Re: OT question-good books for moms

Jan Karon has a series called At Home in Mitford that I have really enjoyed and Thomas Kinkade has a series called Cape Light. Both are light and easy to read with loveable characters.

I loved the Love Comes Softly series, too! :D

Re: Question about adding more critical thinking books

My dd6 loves thinking skills and we are going to continue with them for first grade and beyond if she desires. They do not take up a lot of time and she feels such a sense of accomplishment. She also loves to color, cut and paste and sometimes that is enough to quench her craft needs. :D
