Re: Watercolor Tutorials for CTC
I just got the guide and was reading that we would be painting. I am NO artist, but I now my boys would LOVE this! Thank you sooo much for taking the time to give us non-creative teachers step-by-step instructions.
Blessings!

Re: Reading/phonics help
Yes, the 5 finger rule it great! It gives our kids the freedom to choose their own books. I believe that is why my boys love to read so much. I have learned quickly which genre they enjoy most.
Have a blessed day!

Re: Reading/phonics help

He has read all the Henry and Mudge books, books by Laura Numeroff (If you give a Mouse a Cookie), Dr. Seuss, Curious George, Pup and H...

History Stories for Children
I am using LHFHG and I have the 2nd ed. of History Stories for Children. Well, the page numbers in LHFHG do not correspond to the page numbers in the history book. I have been able to figure out what page we need to read up until now. This week we are starting The New England Colonies and Expansion....

Science
We have just completed our first week of LHFHG. I am loving this program, but I have a question about science, The World God Made.
Why does LHFHG not go in order of Creation?
Why are the experiments and activities in The World God Made different from LHFHG?
Thanks,
Amy
