SWITCHING FROM PUBLIC TO HOMESCHOOL IN 4TH GRADE
I did LHFHG with my son as a K4 program and he loved it (just reminded me this morning how he loved the science stuff we did - can't believe he remembers that!), but he really fought me with the reading and at the time, we decided homeschooling was not a good fit for us. He's been in public school f...

Re: Reading
OK. Got the answer to that question, too. Looks like we need both sets, one for the reading section that he would read to me and one for the storytime section that I would read to him. Sorry. Having some confusion switching between computer screens!

Math Assignment Question

I checked both math books 2A and 2B and the p. 80s do not have review sections. Am I not understanding something or is ...

Re: Little Hearts over two years?
I have actually had a question about this. If my son completes the K version of LHFHG this year (he's just turned 5), where are we going to go next? Would we repeat it but use the 1st grade supplemental materials or would we move on to the next book? Lisa

Re: Anybody here doing LHFHG?
My 5-year-old and I are going through LHFHG and he loves the science activities and the math activities. He is a very hands on little boy, so the cotton ball cloud experiment and the foil boats were a real hit. After "school time" was over, he would stay at the sink and keep doing those 2 activities...
