Could you please share your views on mythology in light of the scriptures that say to "make no mention of the names of other gods" in Exodus 23:13 and Joshua 23:7?

I am just wondering how deep HOD goes in the study of mythology.

I have never been to a homeschool convention. I have always felt like I could better research material online. Could someone share with me the benefits of actually going to one?

Carrie, I am in WA state. Our convention is next month. Will you have anyone representing HOD there?

Just looking at this thread again tonight. Still wondering if Preparing or HHTT could work. Do you think it would be too much for my 8 and 6 year olds? Julie, I know you said you would place my 10/11 year old in Bigger. Do you not think she would be able to do the work in Preparing or HHTT yet? Than...

Thanks Julie. I was able to read your recommendations. So it looks like Beyond for everyone on the left and separate LA and Math. Do you think Preparing or HHTT could be an option? I really think my 10 yo would like one of those, but I don't know if it would work well to fit the other 2 students in....
