Thank you Carrie.

Where else does the author of a curriculum, who is a full time homeschooling mom, currently authoring another level, take the time (lots of precious time) to answer our questions, relieve our fears and offer clear easy to implement suggestions. Just noticing all of the threads with Carries bright re...

There are no smilies to relay how I feel for you. We did lose all of our pictues a few years ago when we got the blue screen of death. But the lists and books and organization tools you lost.. I am so sorry. I don't even know how to do it, and I can't imagine the time that went into it all. I ...

Re: Does anyone know where we can find ...?

Have you tried Amazon? They seem to have everything. prices vary greatly but always have a 3.99 shipping so you have to be careful. How about CBD.com Does your library have that service that checks with all libraries in the area. I know ours covers three counties and often we are able to find books....

Which guide has states and capitols?

I know there was a thread about this.. about not having to do it on our own because Carrie included it somewhere? I tried to search and couldn't find it. Anyone remember what she said? Thanks! I do see that in units 33 and 34 of Bigger, there is a very general geography/notebooking piece that includ...

Re: Ordering Rest of Preparing??

Yes, you are correct. The extension package is in place of the deluxe package for the older students.. I will be using this program in the fall! extensions for my 6th grader and deluxe for my 3rd grader. These are independent History books. I am looking forward to the Independent part! Glad t...

Re: Perparing - DITHOR + basic + deluxe = all of them?

According to what Carrie explained the deluxe and extensions are the independent History reading portions. Deluxe for the students within the age range and extensions for the older kids (5th and 6th graders.) I am using them all, but the deluxe with a third grade and extensions with the 6th grader. ...

Re: Singapore 2B brick wall

I had to install a java plugin, took like 1 minute. http://www.apples4theteacher.com/java/counting/money.html This is from funbrain.com http:/...

Re: Workbox system question

I bought the book, the print version, and really like it! It explains so much behind the reasoning for the system. And gives some additional organization advice etc. However, I know there is a HUGE thread on Five IN a ROW boards about it and they have implemented the system in a variety of ways. Som...

Re: Perparing - DITHOR + basic + deluxe = all of them?

The basic is the read aloud portion of the program and the deluxe package is meant for the independent history reading. So, yes they are seperate. The DITHOR will be fine to keep and use what you have. I am going to be using 2/3 with the level 2 books with my dd in preparing and 4/5 with level 5 boo...

You have been so amazing with all of my questions. I am reading through a lot of peoples choosing posts and wonder if I really made the right choice...
