Our baby was born 2/2/10 and we took the entire month of February off. I figured if I was teaching or working outside of the home noone would think twice about taking 6 weeks off. Yes, we school year round also. My husband teaches in the public schools so we used to try and follow his schedule. But then he really missed not participating in school with our kids.
