Language Lessons for the Elementary Child
Hi all! I happened along an older catalog and found that HOD used to use Language Lessons for the Elementary Child, but I can't tell HOW this was used, or if it WAS to be used along Preparing to Build-English 2 (Rod and Staff)...so does anyone know? And I looked up the LLftEC and it looks wonderful,...

Math 2B Add/Sub Money Part NEED HELP!
Guys, just ran into a bit of a snag today, and I'm hoping the veterans can help me out. This is my first year using Singapore (just in case that matters), and for the most part, I really like it. I like the concepts, etc. SO...we are on Adding and Subtracting money from pages 40 to 48ish Textbook 2B...

Re: Working the Schedule?
Wow...what a blessing this group is by the way. Thank you SO much for your responses. I'm going to TRY to relax about things (not my best gift), and what you're saying is that I shouldn't worry if I miss something, right? Thanks again guys!!!

Working the Schedule?
Guys, just wondering how to adjust my thinking. I know I shouldn't be a slave to any curriculum, but I feel like the BLHFHG builds on itself each day. SO...any tips or advice on how to skip a day, or adjust my schedule without it messing up my DD too much? And I'm asking because we have a new verse ...

Re: Getting last minute jitters...
You must be doing SOMETHING right, because you used the word "mileau" in a sentence. I am also brand new, so the only thing I can say is kudos to your large vocabulary, and I want to know how it actually goes once you start. Blessings, Kelly

Re: Do you have trouble thinking like Singapore math?
Val, thanks so much! I am NOT familiar with it, but it sounds like something that will work for us. My Home School store here says they can get me the Teacher's guide...is the Home Instruct Manual the same thing (1st dumb question of the day, but you never know!)? Also, I'm glad you answered about m...

Re: Do you have trouble thinking like Singapore math?
Okay guys...I need a little help too. I JUST got my stuff and I am planning to do 2A & 2B for my 2nd grader using Beyond this year. This will be my FIRST year using Singapore Math and after looking through it, here are my questions: 1) Should I order the Teacher's Manual? It doesn't look to me like ...
