A looooong time ago (a year + ago?) , you mentioned that at this stage, the students will be alot more independent, self-run kinda thing... is that the plan for this guide, or is it teacher directed/led?

I have been studying this book for weeks. LOL
TODAY we started, and I just realized there's no spelling lists???? I dont know where my brain was, but it never clicked.

Target has the crayola watercolor paint sets for 50 cents each

Staples has sales weekly, many things are 1 cent, some 25 cents-- this week, mechanical pencils are 25cents a package-- my kids LOVE Mechanical ...

Ok... that makes ALOT of sense!

Has anyone else been frustrated with singapores placement testing?

So far, it's been inaccurate with 3 out of 3 kids. grrrrrrrrrrr

Also, am I the only person who feels singapore just assumes you will memorize multiplication before doing their sheets? It goes (in 2A and 2B) from teaching you how to ...

I've already mailed in my registration $$$ for the Arlington, tx fair. even though I have alot of the books for Preparing-- only a few left to find. If I cant find them gently used before the homeschool, I'll buy them then.

Is this a consumable book?

Just decided to put 2 kids in Preparing, figuring out what I need duplicate copies of. Obviously, I will buy duplicate copies of the math books, cursive (1 kid will be doing cursive)... trying to figure out what else I'd need.

I have the R&S English books already ...
