Using older MTMM
Just wondering if MTMM 2012 guide is compatible with current student pages? Is it possible to sub the new paint books?

Re: Roll Call 2023/2024?
We used HOD many years ago with my older children who are now grown or in highschool. I’m bringing my younger kids home from school this year. My youngest will do LHFHG for grade 1. She’s almost 6. My 9yo will do Preparing for 4th and my 12yo RTR for 7th.

Re: DITHOR placement
I'm not sure my older son's reading level. He doesn't like reading, at all. I'm trying not to overwhelm him. My younger son's teacher told me he was reading at a 5th grade level about half way through grade 3. Not a big fan of reading. I was planning on the 5/6 pack for my older son and 3/4 for the ...

DITHOR placement
My kids are coming home from school. They've had very little literature study. Maybe the basics like characters and setting. Wondering if it'd be ok to place my 7th grader in 4/5 and 4th grader in 2/3? My 4th grader would get through all the books by 8th grade at 2 years per book. But my 7th grader ...

Re: Combine 4th and 7th grader in Preparing?
I realized I messed up. Have only done up to CTC and then WG and part of WH. He’ll be 12 which I see is technically still ok for the guide. I’m still leaning a little towards it because I feel it’ll help the boys be more cooperative in actuality doing their work. We have some behaviour issues. If it...

Re: Combine 4th and 7th grader in Preparing?
4th grader definitely isn’t ready for CTC. I’m not sure where my 7th grader is at. He hasn’t been writing essays or anything yet. I’ve been extremely disappointed with the grammar instruction at the school. I intend to do EIW 7 with him, as well as I forget if it’s physical or general science for gr...

Is there somewhere to see year by year the changes?
Hello! It’s been awhile I’ve been away from my first homeschool love, HOD. We’ve used every guide up through WG in the past. I see lots of changes!! Any chance there’s a list somewhere that shows the changes each year or the changes to each guide over the years or something like that?

Combine 4th and 7th grader in Preparing?
Homeschooling a 4th and 7th grader this fall. Coming home from school. 7th grader is very sensitive and will be going to highschool for 9th. I’m thinking on doing Preparing with both of them, with extensions for the 7th grader, plus LA and science for 7th grade. Any reason I shouldn’t do this? We’re...

Re: Question about Preparing hearts and CTC
If you can swing it, I’d get Preparing. I’ve found it perfect for 4th grade. I tried CTC when I was combing with my 4th and 6th grader and even though my 4th grader had grown up doing HOD, the jump in writing was just too much him.

Preparing student sheets for 20/21?
It’s been awhile since we homeschooled, but the kids are home and I love it! Might keep them home
I heard Preparing student sheets were coming out. Will they be available for the 20/21 school year?

Re: CTC-The Story of the Ancient World question
I'm just getting ready to do CTC. This makes me sad as I'm not sure I'll catch them and I don't want to teach biblical inaccuracies:(

Re: Dictation only for spelling?
I'm doing just dictation this fall. WE've done years of AAS. She knows all the rules, she never uses them in her writing. Too much time and money for too little results. Her spelling improved this year as her reading took off. But again, not using the rules, just getting closer to the actual word. I...

Re: What credits to include with WG?
If you're already switching everything around, I"d probably keep Health with Biology from the WH guide and do logic the next year in place of health. I don't think it'd mess anything up and it'd keep the work load the same, just swapping a half credit for a half credit.
