We use the library for our Storytime books in Beyond and Bigger. I like to read the descriptions in the back of the guide and choose one I think that child will enjoy. We discovered Snow Treasure this way and my ds LOVED it!

My ds is in 3A and I personally like the Home Instructor's guides. I like the suggestions given for activities & games to introduce and review concepts. My ds LOVES doing them and having the guide keeps me from having to design my own. I'm sure they aren't for everyone, but they work well for us. :)

Yes, I do. My ds saw it laying on the table over lunch and began looking at all the guides we've done and the guides he has yet to do. He also noticed the army poster on the front and said, "That's cool!"
