Question about Rev to Rev maps
Can someone tell me if the Map Trek maps are customized to Rev to Rev or can I just order the map set for this period from Knowledge Quest. I can purchase via download there if it is not customized. I've been using my Knowledge Quest maps for TOG but some used by HOD are not on the disc and I'm weig...

Re: Books for first few weeks of CTC?
Thank you so much, striving2Bprov3!
That info will allow us to get started and plan for what and when things will need to be purchased next!

Books for first few weeks of CTC?
My dd is doing CtC this year but I only have the finances at the moment to get what we'll need to get started. I noted the books used in the first week in the lesson plan sample. Would it be possible for someone to post the books needed in the first several weeks? I know all the resources are listed...

Re: Rod & Staff English
I appreciate the thoughts and ideas. I think we'll try doing things a bit differently on Monday and see how it goes. Julie, my dd is 10 and is doing R&S English 5. She is in PHFHG so English is scheduled 4 days/wk. I did notice the goal of completing R&S English 6 by the end of 8th grade and the fac...

Re: PHFHG History/Storytime reading
Thanks, Molly. You are right - I was looking at Wyatt's RevtoRev schedule. Not enough sleep last night. :? My dd is 10 and also is doing Preparing with extensions. Unless we hit a time crunch(we have 6 school age dc), I read the Read About History and the Storytime books to her. We enjoy that time t...

PHFHG History/Storytime reading
I was noticing on Julie's schedule that she has her son doing the Reading About History and the Storytime readings independently. If you are also using Preparing, are you reading to your child, having them read independently, reading to each other, or doing a mix?

Re: Rod & Staff English
Thank you for all the responses. It sounds like doing more orally is the key. It also seems like people are utilizing the lesson explanations in the student text rather than going through the lesson as detailed in the TM. We have already been doing the oral review and the oral exercises. Maybe we'll...

Rod & Staff English
I have a question about how you ladies are using R&S English. I see that some have scheduled it for 15 minutes a day and I wonder how you're getting through it so quickly. Are you doing it all orally? Doing every other one? Skipping the teacher-lead lesson overview? I've used R&S for years and have ...

Spelling list for Beyond
Hi, I'm new to the board. We used some of Little Hearts last year and just started Beyond today. I am using the first week printout while I wait for my actual copy to arrive (hopefully later this week). Because of this I don't have the week's spelling list available to me. I was wondering if it was ...
